Secular Koranist laws are inconsistent and stupid

Claire Khaw (here) is the chief ideologue of a form of government which she has invented called "Secular Koranism" which she believes can compete with Islam's Sharia and Noahide Law in the West, she is so sure Westerners would prefer her theocracy to any other. Khaw hangs her bet on the fact that presumably her theocracy would be the most appealing because her theocracy is the most "liberal". Claire calls her ideology "Secular Koranism" because its legal system is based only on the Quran and not the Hadiths or other texts used to formulate Sharia law in mainstream Islam. According to Khaw the Quran does not demand a belief in god and does not forbid idolatry. So according to Claire, the Secular Koranist government would rule under an agnostic regime and everyone would have freedom of religion. 

However, there are a few pesky verses in the Quran that Khaw likes to overlook. While the Quran might not forbid idolatry, it does most definitely forbid eating food sacrificed to idols:

He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah . But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. - Quran 2:173

There is another problem, as in the Quran it is forbidden to marry a polytheist:

And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe. And a believing slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allah invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses to the people that perhaps they may remember. - Quran 2:221

So what is Claire going to do? Is she going to allow all other forms of idolatry besides eating food sacrificed to idols? Isn't that kind of random and stupid? And what about not being able to marry polytheists, how could that be applied in a society that allows so-called "freedom of religion"? Claire tries to make up for this absurdity by declaring that the commands against the eating of food sacrificed to idolaters and the command not to marry polytheists would only apply to Muslims in her society. But wait... can Muslims only not eat the food sacrificed to idols, but can they practice all other forms of idolatry... the Quran doesn't say they can't, it only says they can't eat food sacrificed to idols, isn't that just ridiculous?

Claire actually believes that Muslims and Westerners would both approve of a legal system that has different laws for Muslims and non-Muslims. So a non-Muslim can marry a polytheist but a Muslim can't? A non-Muslim can eat food sacrificed to an idol, but a Muslim can't... but they can still both worship an idol together? Who on earth would accept such an absurd, unequal and stupid system?
